A Chinese woman at the centre of goat testicles has been set free by the Kiambu Court.
Lei Yunyan had been arrested over clams of illegally shipping the testicles out of the country as reported by the media outlets.
According to court records, Yunyan is accused on diverse dates between September 1, 2021, and November 23, 2022 She is said to have fraudulently obtained goat testicles worth Sh6,026,775 from Goto Ado.
Yunyan reportedly exported goat testicles worth over Sh6 million. She however denied the charges and in her defence, the accused urged the court to free her on bail since she was expectant.
She was directed to deposit a Sh500,000 cash or an alternative Sh1 million.
The accused person was also ordered to deposit her passport and travel documents with the court awaiting trial.
