Men who have a habit of touching women inappropriately will now have to think twice lest they land in trouble.
A 21-year-old man was recently charged with touching a woman’s buttocks in Nairobi’s Central Business District.
The man allegedly committed the offence along Murang’a Road by intentionally and unlawfully touched the buttocks of a woman with your hands against her will.
The man who pleaded not guilty to one count of committing an indecent act with an adult, was slapped with a bond of Ksh300,000 with alternative cash bail of Ksh100,000.
According to a police report, on the material day at around 9:00 pm, the complainant, who is a business lady along Murang’a Road, was returning her umbrella to her store when the accused who was walking behind her, intentionally touched her buttocks without her consent.
“While coming back from the store as she was walking along a narrow path, she was attacked by the accused person who intentionally touched her buttocks with his hands and pulled her towards his body,” the court heard.
