A man in Nairobi’s Kasarani area has been charged for creating disturbance by threatening to stab his ex-wife for leaving him for another man.
Samuel Kabue Nduta threatened to stab and kill his former wife Irene Nyambura Njoroge on November 18 at Githurai in Kasarani
The two parted was two years ago over constant threats by Kabue to harm her should he see her with a man as he could not stand it. However, the two remarried separately.
Iren had left her marriage with their child now three years old and the move did not amuse the accused hence the threats.
The accused is reported to have been looking for the complainant and that whenever he met her on the road, he would threaten to kill her if she dared have another man in her life.
This however left the complainant wondering why he was so much into her and yet he could not mend their broken love but instead got himself a wife.
An argument ensued that escalated to an ugly scuffle with the accused drawing a knife in an attempt to stab her to death and take away his son with him
His plans were however thwarted when passersby rescued her and advised her to report the case to the authorities who apprehended the accused.
He was arraigned in court where he pleaded not guilty and the court directed for a pre-bail report to be conducted pending mentioned on December 21.
