Ugandan man who has been working as house help after posing as woman has been arraigned at the Makadara court for police to seek more time to complete investigations.
Nangiro lotukei Irima was arrested on 30th April following revelation by another man who knew he is not woman as he had been posing.
In a sworn affidavit, the investigating officer told court that Lotukei was arrested on 30th April just a month after working as a house girl at a residential house in Eastleigh area.
The suspect is said to have been masquerading as a lady but it was later realized that he was a man following a tip off from fellow Ugandan who disclosed that he was a man.
He is further said to have been doing house chores industriously. Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspect opted to behave as a woman so as to easily get employed since he alleged to have been overwhelmed with poverty.
The suspect according to police is alleged to have defiled two minors aged between 4 and 6 years.
The court granted police three days to do DNA analysis, and further examine the suspect for clarification. The matter shall be mentioned on 11th May
