Malindi Mp Aisha Jumwa left ODM General Secretary Edwin Sifuna with an egg on the face after she grabbed a microphone from him after he made political remarks during burial ceremony.
The incident happened during burial ceremony of Edward Kingi Kazungu a father to Mombasa Deputy Governor William kingi’s on Friday.
In unexpected move, Sifuna began making political statements when he was given an opportunity to address the mourners.
The ODM secretary was speaking on behalf NASA leader but instead of condoling with the family, he attempted to address why Jumwa was expelled from the party.
Jumwa who was seated at the podium warned Sifuna to stop the political remarks warning him “With all due respect Honorable Sifuna, where you have reached you should stop. We are not here for politics and should respect the Mijikenda”
She then approached the stage and grabbed the microphone from Sifuna in an embarrassing move that has been described as stripping man in public.
