Drama unfolded outside Milele apartment in Embakasi estate in Nairobi on Thursday evening after two ladies exchanged blows over Maasai watchman.
According to witnesses, the two resorted to cat-fight after learning that they were both seeing the guard only identified as ‘Mrefu.
The man is said to have been guarding the apartment and helping the tenants to wash their cars during the daytime, a hustle he has done for more than six years now thus he had cemented friendship with many people in the neighbourhood, both men and women.
However, some people said over time he has mastered the art of looking good including acquiring designer wears and frequent haircuts unlike typical Maasai’s from Kajiado or Tanzania.
It is stated that on the material evening, one of the ladies only identified as Maggie who works for an airline company returned home and passed by the Mrefu’s bedsitter on the ground floor in the apartment.
“After Knocking for some time, there was no response but did not leave to her house as usual,” a witness said
“When the knocks became loud and persistent, some neighbours on the ground floor stepped out to check if everything was okay as Maggie sounded impatient,” he added
It was at that moment that the he opened the door giving Maggie a chance to storm in the houses only to find Mumbua, a sassy lady wo runs a salon outside the apartment relaxing on Mrefu’s bed.
“Kumbe wewe ndio unafungia mtu wangu hapa nikijaribu kuingia, hujuia nimekuwa na yeye miaka mbili”” Maggie blasted as she grabbed Mumbua’s hair leading to a catfight as they tore each other.
It did not take long before the neighbours milled around them before they were separated and pulled out of the compound.
It was then that Mumbua claimed she had been dating the man for six months while Maggie claimed she had known Masai for two years.
As this was unfolding, Mrefu had vanished in thin air leaving neigbours in suspense since he was unavailable to defend himself.
