A man had been arrested and charged before Makadara Law Courts in Nairobi over claims that he touched policewoman on the breast.
Ben Marita Mokema alias Jembe Kali allegedly committed the offense on July 21 in Fuata Nyayo slums.
According to court details, he intentionally and unlawfully touching the female cop’s breast with his mouth an act which is indecent and against her will.
It is stated that the policewoman in question was with her colleagues and had gone to arrest Mokema after a woman reported that he had raped her at his house.
Police officers knocked on his door after the woman identified the house where she was locked for hours being repeatedly raped by the accused.
Reportedly. Mokema peeped on the window and switched off the lights after seeing the police at his doorstep.
The officers who camped outside his house for more than an hour.
He later opened the door and threw the laptop outside but the police officers stormed the house before he closed the door.
They informed him that he was under arrest and gave him reasons for his arrest but he allegedly became violent.
A scuffle is said to have ensued between Mokema and the three police. He is said to have attempted to grab a knife to fight the cops when the complainant restrained him but he allegedly attempted to suck her breast during the commotion.
He was later overpowered by the police and handcuffed and later escorted to the police post.
He however denied the charges and claimed he was drunk during the incident.
He was granted a bond of Sh60,000 with one surety of a similar amount without an option of a cash bail.
The case will be mentioned on August 16 before hearing starts on September 25 this year.
