Kenyans who share sex videos including those of politicians chewing each other could now be arrested to face the law.
The recently circulated one was a fake video of a chubby woman lying butt naked in bed and once it went viral, some Kenyans concluded that it was a popular CAS.
Such videos have now forced Kenya Films and Classification Board to fire a warning to Kenyans of that warning.
Those who share horrific videos like the one of a Kitengela woman stabbing a baby to death have been warned that their days are numbered.
“Some social media users are increasingly misusing digital apps to host and stream live video sessions of explicit adult shows in blatant breach of the laws of land,” KFCB stated.
“All these activities are happening at a time when children, who are heavy users of the internet and social media, are at home for the April holidays,” he added.
“It is illegal to share intimate images or videos or other parties without their consent and a person who commits an offence and is liable to conviction to a fine not exceeding Sh200,000,” the board explained.
In the same note, if the culprits could be imprisoned for a term not exceeding two years or both.
