A 65-year-old man in Nairobi’s Lang’ata estate collapsed and died under unclear circumstances while in bed with girlfriend.
The matter was reported at Lang’ata police station on April 8, 2023 under sudden death.
“On 8/4/2023 at 9:00pm within Akiba Estate, a report was received that the body of a 65-year-old man was lying dead in his bed after he had collapsed while in company of his girlfriend who had just visited him,” police stated.
Adding that, ” The body had not visible injuries where it was discovered that the diseases might have been a civilian firearm holder,”
The police added that the old man was found in possession 202 rounds of 9mm ammunition in one of the drawers though the firearm and firearm certificate were not recovered.
“Necessary action was taken, body removed to Lee Funeral home awaiting postmortem examination. The ammunition were kept in safe custody,” police added.
