COTU secretary general has turned 70 today in what he described as getting wiser and energetic.
Atwoli shared the news through his Facebook page further revealing that his young wife Mary Kilobi surprised him with brand new Mercedes Benz.
He posted “Today I turned a year older, wiser and more energetic. My only dear wife surprised me at my office and presented to me keys to a brand new 2019 Mercedes Benz CLA- class”
Kilobi wished him “May the Almighty God continue to bless you, keep you strong, healthy and happy and may He watch over you for us!”
The Swahili news anchor is Atwolis’ third wife went public last year about their relationship despite negative talks by naysayers who think there is huge age gap between the two.
Despite the negative talk, Kilobi confirmed that she is happily married to the veteran trade unionist with whom she is staying at his residence in Kajiado, a palatial state-of-the-art mansion at Ildamat along the Nairobi-Namanga Road that he describes as his “retirement” home.
The plush homestead comprises a parking lot that accommodates more than 100 cars, a restaurant with capacity to host at least 300 guests at a go, a helipad, and several guest rooms.
Already, Atwoli has bought her a top-of-the-range V8 Prado – a sign of changing fortunes for the new member of his royal family.
