A 37-year-old man attempted to die by suicide in Nyandarua after being found having an unnatural act with a cow.
According to police details the incident happened on February 3 at Kahuruko Village in Nyandarua West around 11:30 pm.
It is stated that area Assistant Chief reported that the suspect Peter Maina was found having an unnatural act with a cow belonging to a neighbour.
An alarm was raised, and the suspect escaped to his house and locked himself inside as the neighbiurs were in his pursuit.
Allegedly, he set the house on fire with the intent to commit suicide but he could not withstand the heat inside the house and bolted house calling for help.
He was arrested by the members of the public and escorted to the station where he was re-arrested. Case pending before court.
