Skimpily dressed ladies around parliament looking for MP’s who promised them jobs
Hundreds of young ladies have been hanging around the parliament building in Nairobi since August, Nairobi Journal has learnt.
A spot check by this publication has further established that some of the ladies could have been hanging around nearby hotels just to meet the lawmakers.
Some security guards say, some of them are dressed skimpily for unknown reasons and frequently make calls throughout the day.
“Last week, one of them was blocked from leaving a hotel where she had checked in for lunch, when she was threatened that the matter will be reported to the police, she spilled the beans,” Andrew Wafula, a security guard at a bank around the August house claimed.
“The lady confessed that an MP had promised her a job and hand in marriage after elections. The lady said she had been in Nairobi for one month yet the MP kept dodging her,”
The security guard said the young lady also confessed that the first time MP had been sleeping with her during campaigns and on some occasions he introduced her as wife in one of the rallies.
“She is not the only one, on a daily basis we see several women looking for the leaders who promised them jobs, but it is worrying how the ladies show up badly dressed,” Job Mayaka, another security guard said.
He added that, “ not long ago, another one borrowed my phone so that she can call an MP who had refused to pick her calls, the man picked and disconnected after hearing her voice,”
Well, it is an unforgiving society here but who is to blame the leaders who take advantage of young ladies, the ladies themselves or the government?
