This is what many Kenyans are asking after some Kenyans including Singer Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee are coming out to make wishes when they depart the world.
While discussing her health condition, Akothee said once she rests, she ought to be laid to rest within 48 hours.
She emphasized the importance of showing love to people while they are still alive and joked that if her health issues worsen, she would prefer a simple burial within 48 hours.
“Well if any of these monsters win or time comes Please bury me in 48 hours . If it finds me Abroad , do not struggle to bring my body back ,my children have no energy to attend to guests.
If you want to see me ,enjoy me now that we can interact. Show me the love now. There is no genuine loved showed to the dead,” she said
She also discussed her health struggles with uterine Fibroids, blood clots and severe migraines revealing that her recent silence is a sign of wisdom, not weakness
In an emotional revelation, Akothee through her social media accounts stated that she had been forced to slow down and rethink her approach to life and strength.
“Most of you have been wondering about the drastic change in my lifestyle.Truth is, life slowed me down.
“I was diagnosed with severe migraines, blood clot, and uterine fibroids. They cant locate where the blood clot is exactly, last time they gave me blood thinner medication, a drug that caused an adverse reaction ,” said Akothee
Adding, “I lost consciousness for about three hours.The doctors said it was a case of over-sedation and my body reacted strongly to the medication.”
In addition, the strength, pace and the purpose completely changed everything she knew about life.
She hinted that being strong sometimes means stopping, breathing and healing and not always pushing through pain, smiling through the storm, showing up no matter what.
