Kitui man who had been apprehended for defiling his two daughters and impregnating them has now shocked the residents and entire family after he blatantly confessed to have killed his father two years ago and buried his body behind the homestead.
The jaw dropping claims got the family members and neighbors unexpectedly who thronged the homestead to witness the exhumation of the old man’s remains said to have been killed.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations had arrested the accused person Musee Ngui after he was accused by her daughters who claimed that he had been defiling them. The daughters are said to be expecting.
Ngui told police that he killed his father Ngunza Ngui and buried him on their family land in Nguuni village, Mwingi West. Previously, Musee had tricked his relatives that his father had traveled far away.
The wait for the return of the old man Ngunza who according to relatives did not say where he was going caused them worries.
The suspect during interrogation, revealed the shocking claims that he caused his father’s death. This prompted homicide detective to dig out the shallow grave located behind their homestead.
He told detectives that he buried the old man’s remains in a shallow grave behind the homestead. It later emerged that indeed remains were discovered from the shallow grave during exhumation.
The villagers and family present could not fathom how such an event could have happened without them knowing.
Even though they were thrown into grief, the family expressed contentment after finding their kin and eventually the puzzle behind his disappearance had been resolved.
They urged authorities to ensure justice is delivered. Investigations into defilement and murder are ongoing.
