Murang’a County Governor Mwangi wa Iria and Gatundu South legislator Moses Kuria have sponsored a Mugithi night ahead of burial of the renowned Kikuyu Musician Joseph Kamaru.
The eve Mugithi show goes down tonight at Golden Palm Hotel at Kenol town, Muranga is culmination of a roadshow caravan that took place today in parts of the county.
The show dubbed “Mararanja ma Kamaru” (night-vigil in respect of Kamaru) starts at 6pm till tomorrow morning.
Kamaru will be buried tomorrow at Kaharati village in Murang’a. He died last week on Wednesday. Notable leaders including the President Uhuru Kenyatta his deputy William Ruto and Raila Odinga amongst others are expected to grace the funeral in Kigumo, Murang’a County.
