A youthful man from Kaproron area in Chepalungu, Bomet County is appealing for help from the government claiming that area OCS snatched a wife from him.
Aaron Lang’at claims that Olbutyo OCS and his officers assaulted him last Sunday and in the process he lost three teeth.
“My wife has been receiving calls from the OCS at night in a move that has been troubling me. That was until last week when I asked her why she steps out of the house to talk to him at night,” the Lang’at narrated.
Adding that, “when I asked her, she became furious and started insulting me and at some point she threatened to kill our child,”
Lang’at said during the scuffle with the wife, she managed to bit the child on the stomach, forcing him to report to Olbutyo police station in Bomet County.
“The matter was booked and I was given an OB number since the child was injured, but the following day, the OCS and three officers arrived at our home around 6:30pm and told me they were coming to pick my wife and the child,” he claimed
“When I inquired if there was any problem, the OCS removed a gun and hit me on the mouth as his officers joined him, in the process I lost three teeth before I surrendered my wife and child lest they kill me,” he added.
Lang’at added that since then the OCS has been keeping his wife and the child under as he continues nursing injuries.
“I don’t know why the OCS took away my wife and the child, maybe they’re married but what I am appealing for is justice, was injured for no apparent reason. I appeal to OCS to come and help us to sort out the matter,” Lang’at appealed.
