While you were cuddling your better half in bed to crown the Valentin’s day on 14th February, a woman in Kajiado was praying for her husband who was attacked by hyena.
John Matipei, a primary school deputy head teacher was attacked by the canine ripping off his thigh, just around his ‘tools’.
Matipei said, “I attempted to kick it but it did not let go. When I turned around it landed on my chest and faced me directly, that is when I bit its nose,”
Meanwhile His wife, Jacqueline Matipei was expecting him at home and had prepared to welcome him home in style to mark the climax of the lover’s day.
“I was looking forward to a great evening with my loving husband. I had prepared well to treat him, but that beast spoiled it all,” she told a local daily.
The husband added, “I attempted to kick it but it did not let go. When I turned around it landed on my chest and faced me directly, that is when I bit its nose”
In the fight, the teacher broke both his hands and the hyena pluck off part of his left thigh.
Matipei teaches at Emukutan Primary School near Maili 46 in Kajiado West Sub County. He is recuperating at the Kajiado county hospital
