Kenyan lady, who video where she was recorded against her wish in a club, has reported the case to police.
Already, two individuals linked to this case have been arrested, but the main suspect, is still at large, and efforts to locate him are ongoing.
The lady identified as Marion aged 22 was allegedly recorded by man in club by a man said to be a doctor in the United States but was on holiday in Kenya.
What shocked many people is that the man leaked her private video online and has elicited mexid reactions among netizens.
On January 17, 2026, the Marion was accompanied by Nairobi County Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria to record a statement at Buruburu police station.
Mosiria said it is deeply unfortunate that a young woman was allegedly recorded without her consent by a man who had promised to take her to the USA.
Mosiria explained that Marion had trusted and she could not resist, only to later be exposed on social media.
“Marion is just 22 years old—a young woman trying to live her life. She believed she had found a partner, a man she had dated for about one year,” Mosiria stated
Adding that, “Instead of protecting her dignity, he is alleged to have used social media to exploit and humiliate her by sharing private content online, exposing her locally and internationally,”
The Chief Officer said the act was unacceptable and constitutes cyberbullying and abuse pledging help her seek justice.
