A Catholic priest from Busia County has been suspended over claims of engaging in sex, partying and drinking alcohol.
Reportedly, the priest has been whiling away evening times in one of the clubs in the locality.
His character is said to have made some people, mostly the followers of the church unhappy.
And now the Catholic Diocese in the region has cracked the whip; the priest has been reportedly suspended.
The letter reads in part “I deeply regret to inform you that I have suspended Fr **** from the priestly ministry for a period of three years with effect from 23 February 2024,”
The move has shocked a section of residents and faithful who have defended the Man of God who has served in the region for ten years.
