As Kenyans are still coming to terms with January 15th terror attack in Nairobi’s Dusit D2 hotel attack, detectives have arrested a woman believed to be wife of one of the terror suspects.

The investigators on Wednesday (16th January) arrested a beautiful lady identified as Violet Kemunto Omwoyo (Little Red) who is said to have been living with Ali Salim alias Gichunge at a home in Ruaka Kiambu County.

Reportedly, the detectives have established that the two have been living with Ali for more than a year now in a three-bedroom lush home going for Sh40,000.

In more shocking revelation, Kemumto was referring herself as ‘Al-Shabaab bride’ on WhatsApp, reportedly the two got married when the lady changed her religion.

Salim suspected to be the ring leader had dug a hole in the house where he is said to have been hiding their weapons while planning the attack but days to their operation Kemunto started auctioning their household items of Facebook.

It is still unclear where Kemunto who is aid to be cooperative hails from since police further found her in possession of and Identity card bearing the name Wanjiru Njeru but her birth certificate reads she was born in Mombasa.

According to neighbours at Guango estate, Ali was man of few words only buying meat on daily basis at the butchery outside.

Kemunto a Journalism graduate from Masinde Muliro University was arrested at their house in the morning hours after authorities linked her communication with the terror suspect.
