Former Nairobi Mayor Godffrey Majiwa has cautioned some members of Orange Democratic Movement of sabotaging party leader Oburu Oginga.

Majiwa, the Babadogo Member of County Assembly said Oburu should be allowed to steer ODM until 2027 and negotiate with President Ruto for more goodies for the party.

“We don’t know why they think Oburu is too old to run the party, and he is already running the party, and the party is moving,” Majiwa

Adding that, “In ODM there is no section of membership that can claim more rights than others, and we are all having an obligation to support the party leadership that is currently in place,”

At the same time Majiwa said ODM MCAS who holds house leadership in Nairobi County Assembly and don’t support Oburu relinquish the positions.

“We want to take a stand as members of the County Assembly of Nairobi that we stand with our party leader, OBuru Odinga, who actually is the one currently running the party,” Majiwa stated

Adding that “We believe in all the leaders who are working with him, and we support them. We also know that there is a section of our members who actually don’t seem to agree with the current leadership,”
