A 25-year-old boy was reportedly killed by a man he found sleeping with his girlfriend in Nairobi’s Kamukunji area.
According to police reports, the incident happened on September 13, 2025, around 10:30pm. at night.
The lady in question was said to have checked into a hotel room with a new boyfriend when the deceased, identified as Barnabas Oketch, got a wind of it.
It is stated that the hotel manager is the one who called the police to say that a man had died within the premises prompting some officers to rush to the scene.
“Manager explained to the officers that the deceased visited his girlfriend, namely Bilhah Nyaboke, on the 5th floor room no 82 and found her with another man,” the police report reads in part
Adding that, ” a cat fight ensued between the two men that led to a commotion that attracted the night security guard who separated the two and escorted the deceased to the waiting room ,”
It is stated that after the incident, the manager was doing routine checkups and found the deceased lying dead on the floor of the waiting room . On physical examination, the deceased had a swollen head injury.
Meanwhile, the lady suspect was arrested, and the other man is on the run, and the body moved to Nairobi funeral home for preservation.
