A 19-year-old girl from Murang’a who was reported missing on December 18 has been found.
The girl identified as Vero waithira called his parents on Friday and revealed to them that she has since been married.
For several days’ family and friends at Gatheru Kiharu where the girl was born have been spending sleepless nights looking for her.
Their search had extended to social media where her details were shared including the school uniform which she was wearing.
That was until December 13, 2024 when an update was posted online reporting that she had called the family and said that she was in safe hands and now someone’s wife.
“She has reached out and said she is safe and now a wife, we are grateful that she has been found safe,” the social media post reads in part.
Some netizens, however relieved, advised the girl to go back to school since she was still young to live with a man.
