Details have now emerged on how KMTC students aged 24 met his untimely death.
Benedict Kiptoo, a Medical student in Kitale met his untimely death just few days to his graduation.
It alleged that Kiptoo was stabbed by his girlfriend after he arrived at his rented house late in the evening on December 2 leading to a clash.
The lady, according to the neighbors, charged towards him with a knife and this made Kiptoo sense danger forcing to duck but she was quick enough fatally stabbing him on his chest with a knife.
Reportedly, Kiptoo rushed to his neighbor for help but he was profusely bleeding. He was then rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Kiptoo and his lover, said to be a waitress, have been having constant disagreement owing to the fatal attack.
His mother Gladys Kipkorir, recounted that the family was preparing for Kiptoo’s graduation, which was to take place on December 5.
Ms Kipkorir recalled that she was on duty on the fateful day when she was informed that she was urgently needed at the Cherangani Hospital.
“It was so bad. I did not comprehend until I was told that he was injured. When I came with my family, we found him there lifeless,” she told the local TV station.
His aunt called out on the authorities to step up and help them get justice considering that they have lost the most promising person whom they struggle with seeing him go through his entire studies.
