How To Remove Deputy President From Office In Kenya

According to the Kenyan constitution there are several grounds for removal of the President from office.

1 Article 150 for instance lists some grounds and the process that can be followed before the Deputy President is removed. below are the grounds;

On the grounds of physical or mental incapacity to perform the functions or on impeachment

-On the ground of gross violation of a provision of the constitution or any other law

-Where there are serious reasons to believe that the Deputy President has committed a crime under national or international law; or

-For gross misconduct

2. The provisions of Articles 144 and 145 relating to the removal of the President shall apply, within the necessary modifications to the removal of the Deputy President.
