How Nairobi Woman Hired Gangsters To Kill Son-In-Law

A woman has been arraigned in court over claims of conspiracy to commit murder.

S.A according to court details committed the offense on February 17, 2024 at Komarock.

She was accused of conspiring with a close ally to kill a son-in-law named SK.

It is stated that on the material day the accused approached some security personnel of one of the courts in the estate and asked her to look for gangsters to kill her son-in-law who is the complainant in the case.

According to court details, she explained to the security personnel that the son-in-law and his wife had been having domestic issues.

The security personnel reportedly leaked the information to other casual workers around before it was shared with the complainant who then reported to police.

Following the developments, the security personnel was advised to confirm to the accused that she had found the gangsters. In the case one of the police officers posed as a gangster.

Meanwhile the accused had sent some money to the lad she had approached her to find the gangsters since it had been agreed that it will cost sh50,000 to complete the task.

On February 24th, it is reported that the source of money was coming from the accused including instructions to carry out the killing, around that time the photo of the complainant had been produced unknown to her that police were involved.

On February 25, it is stated that down payment of sh16,000 was sent to someone who was posing as link between the accused and supposed gangsters.

Reportedly, the remaining balance was to be forwarded once the complainant is eliminated.

With police having gathered all the developments, it is stated that the accused was arrested to face the charge.

She was arraigned before Makadara Law courts where she denied the charge. She was set free on sh200,000 cash bail and surety bond of sh300,000. The case will be mentioned on March 25, 2024.
