For several days now, name of the South Mugirango Member of Parliament Sylvanus Osoro has been appearing in the news items.
This has been heightened by clash of his supporters and those of Kisii County governor Simba Arati, mostly boda-boda riders.
Away from the political temperatures it has now emerged that the youthful United Democratic Alliance (UDA) lawmaker could be eating life with a big spoon.
A video has emerged showing Osoro walking around two German shepherd dogs in palatial compound hosting a modern home.

However what caught the eyes of many from the video is the number of high end vehicles parked in the compound.
Among them are two black Toyota Land-cruiser V8s, green Prado and about four other vehicles lined up in the parking
The compound is neat with well manicured lawns stretching around the bungalow which has a touch of green and grey roof giving the environment around appealing ambience.
“Nyinyi ongeleeni hizo maumbwa kwani hamja ona hizo gari zote nikama hapo ni bazaar …. aki mungu wa magari tumulike,” Djvosti Spartan commented on the video.
Another follower Undisa Musonga responded, ” We only live once !!!ukipata chance build your own empire!!!ensure your family is enjoying the chance !!! …enjoy mr osoro money is good your money should always make you comfortable and get you what you want,”
Much can be said but Osoro is second term Mp who has been working closely with President Ruto when other politicians from Gusii region shied off.
In 2022, Osoro shocked the nation when he pounced on then Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati at a funeral service in Tendere, Kisii, on live television.
The funeral service was for an elderly man, no less, the father of Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi.

Since then Osoro and Arati, now Kisii governor have not been seeing ech other eye to eye.
Osoro ran for Embakasi South MP in Nairobi in 2013 but lost before switching to the grassroots having learnt some political lessons in Nairobi.
The South Mugirango MP was the fifth child in a family of three brothers and three sisters. Their father, Meshack Onyiego, was a secondary school teacher, while their mother Sarah Kemunto, was as a nurse at Kaplong Hospital in Bomet County. Theirs was a solid, well-to-do family by Kenyan standards, until his parents died within a span of four months, leaving them destitute.
