Governor Sakaja was represented by his deputy Njoroge Muchiri, who promised that the county would assist the victims of the fire so that they could continue with their business.

“We are aware that many families are suffering, and the county under the leadership of Governor Sakaja will help those who were affected,” Njoroge noted.

He added, “I was sent by Governor Sakaja that we as the county will assist those affected by the incident so that they can embark on their businesses,” the Deputy Governor added.

Other 280 people were left with serious injuries in the incident that happened within Miradi area in Embakasi East.

Similarly, Governor Sakaja was represented by his deputy Mjoroge Muchiri, who visited the area in the company of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

“As a county government, we assure you that every resource is being mobilized for relief and recovery,” Njoroge pledged.

From the two incidents, some city residents have been inquiring about the whereabouts of the county boss on various platforms, with some claiming he is out of the country.
