KUJUANA : Joyce Laboso’s husband Abonyo lands government job

Husband of the late Bomet gover, Dr Joyce Laboso has landed plum government job.

In a gazette notice, the Head of State appointed Edwin Abomyo as a member of the State Corporations Advisory Committee.

During the funeral of the former county head in August 2019, Uhuru heaped praise on Abonyo for his exemplary traits and urged Kenyan to emulate him.

Uhuru further praised Abonyo for his integrity after revealing that he never secured a tender from Bomet county government despite being a contractor and his wife being a governor.

He was further impressed by Abonyo’s resolve to shun certain customs and traditions like men insisting on their wives to adopt their last names.
