Sonko relative among victims of bees’ attack in Kwale town

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko kin was reportedly among people attacked by a swarm of bees at Kwale town, Coast region.

The bees paralysed daily businesses in the town today, being the second instance in Kwale this week. Those who sustained injuries were treated at Kwale hospital.

Residents identified one of the victim as a close relative of Sonko. They said the attack was not ordinary.

On Sunday a swarm of bees attacked worshippers at St Michael ACK Church in Kwale town but the invasion was tackled without injuries reported but the service was delayed for over an hour.

They had invaded the said church a day earlier. It was reported they had pitched tent nearby.
