Two Kenya Airways planes collide at JKIA

Investigations has been commenced to establish how two Kenya Airways planes have collided on the ground at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport this evening.

It is said the two were undergoing maintenance when the incident happened that has left the two with huge damages.

Kenya Civil Aviation Authority Director-General Gilbert Kibe says an investigation has been opened.

It is still unclear if it was miscommunication or what transpired in the two cockpits. Are the pilots to blame or who is to?

Unconfirmed reports indicate one of the plane jumped off the chocks and crashed into the other.
