Jubilee secretary general Raphael Tuju has revealed that he first wore an underwear when he joined Starehe boys.
Tuju who doubles up as Cabinet Secretary said was given the inner clothing by Starehe Boys’ Centre founder Dr Geoffrey William Griffin.
He revealed the ‘inner secret’ last week at the school during 60th anniversary “I had never worn innerwears until I came to Starehe. I came here bare…I was a miserable poor little boy,”
He added, “Are you clapping for innerwear or are you laughing at me?”
Starehe Boys educates at least 70 per cent of its students free, and the rest at a reduced rate.
