A Kenyan student who claimed her boyfriend died during last week’s terror attack in Nairobi has been exposed.
Esyloyians Meli the Kenyatta University student had claimed that her Australian boyfriend Marcus Rodriguez 36, was among those who died during the Dusit D2 attack on 15th January that left more than 20 people dead.
But in shocking twist, the Australian High Commission in Kenya has since issued a statement saying no Australian citizen died during the attack.
“The Australian High Commission in Nairobi has confirmed that an individual reported by some media as an Australian victim of the attack on the DusitD2 Hotel complex was not an Australian citizen,” the statement reads in part.
Esylovians, a third year student claimed the boyfriend arrived on Sunday after arriving from Australia.
In 2017 Esyloyians claimed she was headed to the United States to have her breasts and buttocks enhanced claiming to have found an affordable surgeon to do it.
“I have rich friends who have promised to fund the entire process,” she said when asked the source of her funding for the process that could cost millions of shillings.
