A 34-year-old nurse based in Githurai 44 has been arraigned following a bizarre incident where she allegedly coerced a female patient into exposing herself to a male client for “sperm harvesting.”

The accused, Perpetual Wambui Mwangi, appeared before Makadara Chief Magistrate Kennedy Bidali facing charges of intentionally and unlawfully compelling the complainant, identified as C.S.G., to commit an indecent act against her will.

In a routine checkup that turned nightmare, the complainant and her two siblings visited the clinic for routine blood tests at their mother’s request on April 13.

Upon arrival, a dispute arose over the cost; while the siblings had been given Sh 100 each for the service, Wambui reportedly demanded Sh 150, initially turning them away.

However, the situation took a dark turn when the nurse allegedly called the complainant back.

According to prosecution files, Wambui requested the young woman to assist a male patient in “rising to the occasion” so that his sperms could be harvested.

The nurse reportedly promised the complainant a “handsome reward” from the male patient for her cooperation.

The complainant alleges she was instructed to strip naked for the man, who then dictated how she should present herself.

Once the “mission” was complete, the man left the room, and the nurse took the complainant’s phone number, promising to send her the payment later.

The ordeal escalated the following day when the complainant began receiving threatening calls from two different numbers.

The callers, who claimed to be DCI officers, demanded KSh 14,000, threatening to leak nude photos and videos of her if she failed to pay.

It was only then that the victim realized she had been surreptitiously filmed during the encounter. Terrified, she informed her mother, and the two reported the matter to the authorities, leading to Wambui’s arrest.

With the legal proceedings taking its course, a well presented Wambui appeared before a city court where she denied all charges. She was granted a cash bail of KSh 50,000 or an alternative bond of KSh 100,000.

The case is scheduled for hearing  on October  19 as police continue to hunt for a male accomplice believed to be involved in the extortion ring
