Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna this morning revealed that there were plans to harm them after the Mega Rally in Amalemba grounds in Kakamega.
In a shocking X post, Sifuna claims the plot included allowing goon to infiltrate Kisumu International airport so as to cause mayhem.
Sifuna said it was by God’s grace that they arrived in Nairobi safely. He was accompanied by Embakasi east Babu Owino among other MPs.
“We thank all of you who showed up and stood with us to beat all the traps of the enemy. We need to hear from,” he stated tagging Kenya Airports Authority in his post.
The Senator also questioned whether Kisumu is still an International Airport and whether they can still guarantee the safety of all passengers transiting through there.
“How they allowed goons to barricade the airport needs to be explained. Secondly, we were all booked on commercial flights from JKIA,” he posted
Adding that, “The Airlines shared our itinerary with the ghouls in the Ministry of Interior knowing full well they were endangering our safety.
Luckily, he stated that they received intelligence and changed their travel arrangements.
“This is not the sort of country we want to live in. We must change it. We will change it Inshallah,” he added
