A woman in Nairobi’s Muthangari area has been arrested on allegations of stabbing a man during a heated debate on Sunday’s derby between Manchester City and Manchester United.
According to a police statement, the incident happened on February 3rd at 10pm after the nail biting that was played in the evening.
It is stated that the victim Willy Njoroge was hit on the head by Sofia Ayuma using sharp granite stone.
Reportedly, Njoroge sustained serious injury since he bled profusely but received first aid from good samaritans before being rushed to hospital.
Police who later visited the scene said the two differed over the Premier league match between the two hot rivals England clubs.
In the clash, Manchester City thrashed Manchester United 3-1, leaving City in the second position with 62 points and United with 44 points and at position six on the EPL Table.
