Popular Kalenjin musician Millicent Jerotich the ‘Mali Safi Chito’ hit maker has found herself between a rock and a hard place.
For the better part of the day (February 1), Facebook and Tiktok followers turned Jerotich into a punching bag with some threatening to un-follow her on social media all together.
This was after reports emerged that she had made a report to YouTube accusing a comedian from Kericho County popularly known was Brobox of illegally doing a remix of her song.
Apparently, the musician from Marakwet also known as ‘Marakwet Daughter’ asked YouTube to strike out the remix done by Brobox and Dj Sutai which has since been obliged to.
Brobox and the DJ Sutai are famed for doing remix of other songs and sharing on their YouTube channel without any challenges. This has made them remain famous among their fans.
Thus when reports reached the fans that Marakwet Daughter had reported Brobox, the internet was on fire.
In response, Marakwet Daughter shared a video on TikTok telling off some fans who have been castigating her for making the reports to Youtube.

Even so, on evening of February 1st, Jerotich apologized to her fans and followers admitting that mistake happened.
“Am walking to February with a clean heart. No more pain or sadness. If you did me wrong I forgive you and you feel I did you wrong I sincerely apologise,” Jerotich shared on Facebook.
Marakwet Daughter rose to fame after her song ‘Mali Safi Chito’ received fair airplay late last year and she was among the artiste who were recently awarded in Bomet County. We wish her well in her music career.
