There are two Swahili phrases that goes, ‘pesa ni sabuni’ ya roho na ‘pesa ni maua’.
The two phrases paint the transformation of Bomet Women Representative Linet Chepkorir alias Toto.
Slightly over one year since she was elected, Bomet residents and Kenyans are beginning to see the transformation from tiny lady to now full blown woman.
During the 2022 campaigns ahead of the general elections, Toto as she is fondly known was perceived as an underdog by her rivals based on her physique, dresscode and the fact that she was campaigning on boda-boda.
The residents however decided to prvove her rivals wrong as she was voted in overwhelmingly and today she is at the helm.
Now, days and months have passed and she is now the talk of the town based on her latest looks, plum, spotting some latest fashion and oozing confidence.
One of the netizens going by the name Mkenya Daima observed “Shida na umaskini ni kitu kibaya sana. Look at how money has transformed this lady,
Phasdoh Induli wrote, “Kuna riwaya yake Shabaan Robert, aliandika, “Pesa huvunja nguu na milima ikalala!,”
While Shakir Sheik added, “No way this cannot be #TOTO we saw during the campaign period……,”
