A woman who is being accused of killing her daughter has claimed that she committed the offence because the child resembled ODM chief Raila Odinga.
Sevelina Mwihaki who work as house help was arraigned before magistrate court in Kibera but the matter was set aside until she undergoes sanity tests at Mathari Mental Hospital.
According to police records, the accused who hails from Nyeri County is said to have committed the offence on February 19th Within Nairobi’s Riverside area.
It is suspected that Mwihaki smokes wheed since after killing the baby she is said to have hid her until her neighbours suspected and reported to police. The case will be mentioned on May 13.
