A Ugandan man was on October 26, 2026 arrested at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi after he vomited while eating and started sweating profusely.

It is stated that the man had just arrived from Entebe aboard Kenya Airways flight and was on transit to Johannesburg in South Africa.

According to police report, while awaiting for another flight to connect to his destination he checked into one of the hotels within the airand ordered for food.

It is however reported that he did not finish the food, instead, he started vomiting, sweating and shivering.

Owing to this, the police reports say port health officers were alerted and the said hotel was cordoned off as the matter was escalated to other agencies.

When he was interviewed, he said that he has a history of diabetes, high blood pressure and ulcers which could have caused him to show the signs.

He was then picked by Recross ambulance while under escort of port health officers and rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital to ascertain whether its is Ebola case of not.
