In what is likely to create a standoff between Governor’s lawyers and his opponent, former Governor Ahmed Abdullahi in Supreme Court, an affidavit allegedly filed by the University claims he did not earn a degree from the said institution.

However, Governor Mahamud has two separate affidavits by Kampala University’s registrar Ssegawa Hamza filed before the same court confirming he studied and graduated from the Uganda based University.

The other affidavit by Evans Kerosi, an academic registrar at the Kampala University from 2005 to 2011 confirming that Mr. Mohamud was admitted to the university as a student.
