A man who is believed to be behind the murder of policer attacked t parliament has been arrested.
Eric Onyango Nyakundi 30, was arrested with connection to murder of Hellen Kwamboka last week ate her house in Umoja estate, Nairobi.
Nyakundi was arrested in Mount Elgon exactly one week since Kwamboka’s body was found lifeless at her house with blood stains smeared all over the house.
Hellen Kwamboka, who last reported to work on Thursday, May 23, left for home at around 7pm with police saying that it was the last time she was seen in public.
According to police, Hellen Kwamboka’s colleagues began looking for her on Friday, when they failed to reach her on phone. Police suspect that Kwamboka was first strangled and thereafter, fatally hacked.
“No murder weapon was recovered from the scene, which has already been processed by DCI officers,” reads the police report.
Police said “It is believed that her boyfriend, who visited her on May 23, had murdered her before escaping. The phone of the deceased was not traced and seems [it] was stolen and switched off,”
