A woman whose two husbands died in separate years is now fighting for property with other women had been secretly married to her husbands.
According to report by the Daily Nation, the woman is identified as Mary Mwende and was married to Andrew Wanyoike Muthee aged 54 and Geoffrey Kinyua Mwangi aged 35.
The Newspaper reports that the two men died two years apart but in death they are controversially united by Mary Mwende.
And now Mwende is fighting other women of her two husbands who are also demanding for the share of their properties in separate battles that expose the double beliefs of those involved.
It is reported that a twist of fate led to Wanyoike’s widow. Lucy Wangeci Mutahi to, who is overseeing his estimated Sh100 million, to Kinyua’s widow scholastica Wairimu Gacheru.
It is stated that Wanyoike workde for an international NGO and had invested in real estate but Mwende claims she had married him until October 2023 when he died at Kenyatta National Hospital due to kidney failure.
Mwende used to work as a bar attendant in Kahawa Wendani but Wangechi accuses her of forging husband’s signature in an affidavit of marriage.
The complicated entangle between the three families started in 2012 when Mwende was also dating Kinyua.
Mwede’s daughter was born on August 16, 2012, according to a birth certificate that indicates Kinyua as the father…..as Reported by Daily Nation of November 26, 2024.
