Lamu Senator Anwar Liotiptip who has been romantically linked to Governor Mike Sonko’s daughter, Saumu Mbuvi, is battling allegations from a woman who claims he knocked her up and dumped her without fulfilling promises he made when their love affair was steaming hot.
But Senator Loitiptip 33, says he met Hanifa Were on social media months after parting ways with his ex-wife but never touched her as she claims after discovering she was not only much older than him and the youthful profile picture she posted on Facebook.
“I met her on Facebook about two months after parting ways with my wife, Sophia. But when I discovered that she is a 46-year-old mother of a teenage girl I dismissed her. I think I became target of gold-diggers when I broke up with my wife,” he said.
The politician says he thinks Hanifa became “desperate” when he turned her down and that her claims are a script drafted by his political enemies.
The senator adds that he is compiling evidence to sue Muslims for Human Rights (Muhuri) for allowing Hanifa to use their platform to tarnish his name.
“ Maybe someone is funding her to finish me, once we are done I will file defamation case against MUHURI seeking Sh100 million in damages for allowing Hanifa to tarnish my name,” he added.
Hanifa had claimed that she met Loitiptip who promised to assist her and the daughter. She says they ended up having sex but when she to told she was she was expecting his child.
“He never got in touch with me again. I had stayed for long and thought that I had finally found someone special,” Hanifa said.
